Founders of dreams

Bhawna, School Principle of Jan Parivartan Sanstha School in Faridabad, India.

It all began with the dedication of one remarkable woman, Bhawna, and her supportive husband. Bhawna is one of the kindest and most inspiring women I have ever met. Her unwavering love for children and commitment to education have made Jan Parivartan Sanstha School a reality.

Without her, this space of future wouldn't exist.

Bhawna has seen children grow from tiny preschoolers to young adults in their final high school years. Under her guidance, these children have blossomed and reached their full potential. Her joy and passion for teaching create an environment where every child feels loved and valued.

Bhawna's love and hard work have touched the lives of so many children, giving them the education and chances they deserve.

How it all started

Lessons of love

I don't know where to start... I am often lost for words when someone asks me why India, and what's so special about these kids. EVERYTHING. And yet, I cannot explain it. The moment I stepped into Pragyam, something changed within me that I still can't fully explain. I fell in love. It was as if my heart found its happy place. I've never encountered more beautiful souls than these children. Their hearts and their joy in the little things made my own heart feel like it might burst.

For me, this is deeply personal. No, I am not a registered charity; I am just a girl who fell in love with children who, in my eyes, deserve the very best. They deserve to see their dreams come true, they deserve a good education, a warm meal at least once a day, clean drinking water, and proper sanitation facilities. Because of this, I am doing everything in my power to support these children...
and this is how Little Joys India came to be.

This is a non-profit initiative that brings you back to your own school days, to the little excitements and joys of life, no matter how small. Little Joys India was born from the belief that each of us can make a difference by doing something we love. Previously, I founded another non-profit initiative called Consider it Cakes with over 600 volunteers in Ireland, where we bake free birthday cakes for people experiencing homelessness and asylum seekers.

With the same drive, passion, and belief that little things—a birthday cake, a warm lunch, a new school book— can make all the difference, I started Little Joys India. I truly believe that these small acts can change lives, and I am excited to invite you to join me in making a difference.

Let's love life for the Little Joys it brings.

With love, Franciska Acs

Please note that Little Joys India is not a registered charity. It is an initiative led by an individual passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children in the Indian slums. This is not a business, and all activities are carried out on a voluntary basis to support the education and well-being of these children. Any donations or contributions are used solely for this purpose.
